Description
This off-white millet has 10% fibre and is mainly beneficial for liver and urinary bladder.
This millet is actually a seed and not a cereal and is one among the fastest grown millet, cultivated in Uttaranchal, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
Apart from being a source of protein, carbohydrate, it also has the highest amount of iron and zinc and is a very good source of iron for anemic patients. Having a very low carbohydrate content and low GI it’s highly recommended for diabetic patients.
